about Jane Soyka...

Jane Soyka has been teaching in Albuquerque since 1985. She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of New Mexico. A long-standing member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, she specializes in teaching young children utilizing the Suzuki method®, having registered extensive long-term training with the S.A.A. in the Suzuki violin volumes and supplemental literature.

Located in the Far Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jane maintains a full-time private studio. Those who study with her receive weekly private instruction, group ensemble classes, and many opportunities for recital participation and group public performances.

Jane also is co-director of the Santa Fe Suzuki Institute and Advanced String Camp, where each year in late-July students from across the United States and abroad can enjoy an intense week-long music camp experience at the beautiful campus of the College of Santa Fe.

In addition to her musical activities, Jane owns and operates Soyka Graphics Design, which specializes in event photography, web design and computer graphic print design.
